Visualizing the Change!

The fourth project day started with preparations of all formed teams to work on the project outputs. The video team engaged the participants to prepared a 30 seconds testimonial for their video filming. The video team did a great job making so many different videos, and filming so many parts of the workshops and the project. The also created a project video story. In addition, the evening session was all about making the project publications. Participants were so engaged in writing essays, in completing the concept of the publication, and picking photos. The work of the Essay Writing Team and Publication Team can be seen on the following LINK.

The Media Team was working on what was about to happen the following day. We visited Ohrid and we planned to engage the citizens and raise the awareness about the topics of migration and refugees. The media team worked on flash mob and one-pager leaflet that was able to engage almost every citizen that was on the main square in Ohrid. People loved the flash mob, local TV stations loved it as well. To access the media coverage of the project please click on the following LINK. Besides local attention, the project went viral nation wide. One of our project participants, Stefan Jovanovski, was guest speaker on National Macedonian Radio channel on the morning radio program.

Wait we forgot to mention! We had a graffiti painting workshop in the morning as well. Our participant Aleksandra Najdovska spoke with the participants more about the meaning of graffiti, the message they spread and how they fight against social issues and changes. All of the participants created 4 graffiti walls with collages about the refugee crisis. These walls are permanently exhibited at GET INNOVATION Bitola’s office.

And last but not least… all of the previous days, and on the forth and sixth day as well, the Country presentation evenings took place. The participants were so creative in presenting their country. They came prepared with quizzes, they played the quiz “How to be a Millionaire?” and awarded the lucky teams, they danced and created amazing atmosphere every evening of the project.
